On February 23, 2012, Jenn Frank wrote the article You are the problem condemning independent video game developers who were upset that Independent Games Festival judges assigned to review their games were not playing them, and praising IGF chairman Brandon Boyer and chairman emeritus Simon Carless.[2]
On September 1, 2014, Frank wrote the Guardian article How to attack a woman who works in video gaming which emphasized the harassment of Zoe Quinn and Anita Sarkeesian and accused critics of the Independent Games Festival of intending "to frighten all women out of the video games industry – no matter what they write, film, create or produce – and to additionally frighten anyone who would support them." It has been alleged that Frank was being paid by Maya Kramer at the time.
