Mirror's Edge 2 is a game in development by DICE, one of EA's studios. In December 2014, it was rumored that Anita_Sarkeesian was consulting DICE about the game.
On 8chan's /gamergate/ board, a few threads were created promoting a petition to get her off the team. The OPs were met with sage and ridicule, with nearly all posters stating that she should have a chance to work on a game.[citation needed]
On December 7, 2014, a thread with a neutral OP was created, which attracted discussion. Of the thirty-seven unique posters at the time of archival, only four wanted her to be kicked out, while fifteen had no opinion, four were asking for verification/called it a rumor, and fifteen said she should be able to contribute.[1]
