Maxwell family activities

The Inslaw Promis Scandal

The U.S. government stole the Inslaw corporation's Prosecutor’s Management Information System (PROMIS) software and sold compromised copies with backdoors that allowed for espionage, then refused to pay Inslaw for the product that they had licensed for lawful operations.[3] The co-conspirators included Ghislaine Maxwell's father Robert Maxwell, Earl Brian, Edwin Meese, Rafi Eitan of Israeli intelligence agency LAKEM, Adnan Khashoggi, Richard Armitage, Manucher Ghorbanifar, and Michael Riconosciuto.

An investigation into PROMIS resulted in the deaths of journalists Daniel Casolaro and Anson NG Yonc, National Security Agency leaker Alan Standorf, and Riconosciuto's associate Ian Spiro.

U.S. State Department

Isabel Maxwell's son Alexander Djerassi served as chief of staff and special assistant in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs from 2009 to 2012,[4] during the time of the Arab Spring that brought Al-Qaeda to power in Libya, Egypt, and Syria.
