Operation Nuke-a Laylee
Type: Getting a refund/ giving other backers information about Playtonic/Team 17's unprofessional handling.
Status: Starting

In light of Playtonic's unprofessional way of dealing with issues that JonTron may or may not have raised outside of their control, many of the Kickstarter backers have been enquiring on how to get their money back. Forums have been shutdown and discussion is being censored due to the backer backlash and funder's questions and concerns have been either ignored or simply ridiculed. [1] [2]

  • 1) Contact Playtonic for a refund (ensure to archive their answer).
  • 2) Contact Kickstarter requesting a refund (ensure to archive of their respond of their answer, whether you get a refund or not supplied).
  • 3) Notify the FTC, giving them a copy of refund requests as well as answers from BOTH the companies.
  • 4 Write a letter explaining why you are not buying/ canceling pre-orders, request to keep JonTron's voice, and such politely.
