The '''Boycott List''' is an informal list of websites and publications that have made factually inaccurate reports on [[GamerGate|#GamerGate]] due to poor research, yellow journalism, or other unprofessional reasons. The list also includes sites with serious ethical problems not necessarily related to #GamerGate and social media websites that have [[censorship|censored]] discussion about #GamerGate for reasons having to do with the above. #GamerGate supporters often choose to completely boycott the most serious and repeat offenders.

Boycott List

From GamerGate Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The Boycott List is an informal list of websites and publications that have made factually inaccurate reports on #GamerGate due to poor research, yellow journalism, or other unprofessional reasons. The list also includes sites with serious ethical problems not necessarily related to #GamerGate and social media websites that have censored discussion about #GamerGate for reasons having to do with the above. #GamerGate supporters often choose to completely boycott the most serious and repeat offenders.

Archiving tools can be used to view and preserve the content of boycotted sites without contributing to their clicks and page views.

For an informal list of websites that follow the SPJ Code of Ethics, please view the Support List.
